Dougal Court in Dalkeith is a registered, five-bedroom care home offering 24/7 support and care to a group of adults.

About the support we offer

The people who live at Dougal Court have a variety of needs. We support them in everyday tasks and help them to access paid employment. Residents also get involved with the local community, accessing a range of resources and voluntary activities.

Many of the residents enjoy using our custom-built 'Snoezelen' room which is specially designed to stimulate the senses using colours, lights, sounds and scents.

The team at Dougal Court also supports three people who live in properties nearby. We help these service users to maintain their tenancy by developing practical skills like budgeting, healthy eating, shopping, cooking and paying bills.

Support can be provided seven days a week, ranging from a few hours a day to much more, depending on need.
