The value of volunteers

SmartLiving and RealLiving volunteers

We operate two projects that recruit, train and support volunteers to deliver information and befriending/mentoring services.

In addition to the value they bring, the volunteers often gain a great deal of satisfaction out of getting involved and their experiences can contribute towards their personal development and employability.

RealLivingDrawing upon the volunteering project developed by SmartLiving, RealLiving is a befriending/mentoring project operating across Fife. The RealLiving volunteers befriend people whose mental health issues have caused them to become socially isolated.
